Action is self-love.
It is an age old question: why is it so hard for us to see ourselves as others see us? I heard recently that everyone is guilty, there is no one to blame when it comes to most family histories. If we had the foresight and knew ourselves as others saw us how would this change an otherwise predictable outcome? My sister told me I was mean to here growing up. I don't remember. She says I was dumping my misunderstood pain onto her. What if, seconds before I called her names or told her she wasn't worthy of anything good, I could see me from my sisters eyes? I could feel her fear instead of mine? I could see myself as she sees me. We have words like empathy, compassion, perception. Right now, all I need are a couple, keep practicing love, ken.
