There are plenty of "What if's" to go around. We can speculate till we turn blue in the face. But, "What if?" intelligent life from another land made contact with us. Beings who have evolved beyond the kinds of energy that almost destyoed their home. Evolved beyond the kinds of hate to blow children to bloody bits and pieces. Learned how to use technology to better exsistence for the wellness of all life. What if they offered us the wisdom to shrink our perceived differences so we knew the feelings and emotions of others better than ourselves?
What if we said no to their help. What if we said no because we were afraid. What if we continue to destroy. And What if these higher beings refused to leave. What if they sat our leaders down and showed us their scars and showed us how they healed their hearts in order to come together as a home.
The day will come. . .
